Faucaria tigrina, commonly known as Tiger Jaws or Shark’s Jaws, is a compact, clump-forming succulent native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Loved for its bold, jaw-like foliage, this low-growing plant forms star-shaped rosettes of thick, triangular leaves edged with soft, translucent “teeth.” Despite its fierce appearance, it’s easy to care for and rewards growers with striking golden-yellow flowers in the cooler months.
