Loved for its bold, jaw-like foliage, this low-growing plant forms star-shaped rosettes of thick, triangular leaves edged with soft, translucent “teeth.” Despite its fierce appearance, it’s easy to care for and rewards growers with striking golden-yellow flowers in the cooler months.
